Clupper is Maricopa intern

Dr. Beatrice B. Clupper, chair of communications and humanities-at the Boone Campus, is one of 160 community college women nationwide selected for the 1984 Maricopa Internship. "The program, titled 'Leaders for the '80s' will allow Clupper to enhance her administrative capabilities through participation. in a week-long national workshop in Phoenix," according to Dean Kriss Philips. Dr. Clupper's project is titled "Reaching Out: Developing Community and Community College Linkages." Dean Philips added that a major objective of Clupper's internship is to make the college and the community more integral to each other.
