Alex Farmer is rector of Servants of Christ Anglican Church, Gainesville, Florida. Prior to founding this parish in January 2006, he served as the Youth Pastor and Associate Rector of All Souls Episcopal Churh Jacksonville (2000-2002) and then as Rector of St. Michaels Episcopal Parish Gainesville (2002 until 2005). Actively involved in outreach, she is in charge of keeping the food pantry fully stocked for our community's needy. He met his wife, Kim, during college and they married during their senior year. THey have four children. In March 2005, Bill and Kim sensed the Lord leading them to follow Him in a new adventure. The Lord later confirmed that Bill was to go to seminary and pursue ordination in the Anglican Church. Bill and his family moved to Jacksonville in July 2008 for him to serve as assistant rector at Church of the Redeemer. After Neil Lebhar’s election as Bishop in late 2009, Redeemer’s vestry called Bill to serve as Rector. He was installed as the 9th rector of Church of the Redeemer in March 2010.
