BACKGROUND. During and following the series of riots and looting that stunned and angered lawful citizens, the leaders and organizations fomenting the riots used and continue to more widely use threats of boycotts and extortion to fund their efforts. Confronting both small and corporate businesses, they demand sizable contributions in return for pledges to not picket or boycott their enterprises. Unfortunately, many businesses, under the guise of contributing to underprivileged minority groups, cower and submit, infusing radical organization coffers with the equivalent of bribe money. Some businesses have refused to collapse under threats and extortion, risking radical calls for boycotts of their livelihoods. NTF encourages our members to 1) boycott businesses that buckled under to radical threats or which continually support/fund the Left, and 2) purchase from and patronize businesses that bravely withstand radical leftist harassment.
