Description

The drama of Admiral Arnold lies in elements beyond his poetry - yet the tone of Admiral's newspeak is perhaps the only language that will outlive the Memoirs of Zeus, within the context of untutored magic ... And we see a keen love for womanhood. Perhaps the latter is a part of his theme, for Admiral has a love for female softness that transcends the fact that his mind wanders up every woman's dress, feels her crop and searches for her essence ... In the poet's own words: "Love both colored and blinded my eyes..." -- Ahmos Zu-Bolton II, Poet, Professor, Literary Critic I must declare - based on my own personal experience and my "none-college" but "street-wise" education, you've left Anthony Quinn, , , John Kennedy, Henry Miller, Valentino, Don Juan, Cassanova and even Romeo in your amorous dust! And Mister Taglito Wanderer or Admiral Pat Arnold, or whatever you call yourself - you can quote me on this in one of your romantic books as Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain's favorite "Good ol' gal." -- "Wilt The Stilt" Chamberlain's favorite "Good ol' gal"

Admiral Pat Arnold, aka Taglito, is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. He evolved from a Christian minister to a universal guru. He is the author of a book of poems, The Hungry One, published in 1970. He has also written, produced, and acted in five plays on the west coast in such theatres as The Santa Monica Playhouse, Showroom, Magic Theater, Black's Beach, Pilot II, Inner-City Cultural Theatre. He has acted in other plays and films, including Columbia Picture's Hardcore, with George C. Scott in 1978. During the latter 60s, he became the adopted Godson of actor James (Jimmie) Edwards known chiefly for the films The Home of the Brave and Patton. During the 80s for five years he studied acting at the Hollywood, Lee Strassberg Acting Institute under Ted Harris. During part of that time, he was roommate and sometimes agent for Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Miguel Pinero. More recently, Taglito has been spending more time writing poetry, promoting music concerts, working as a socio-political activist and spreading universal love and enlightenment as in Namaste. Taglito can be contacted at [email protected]. He presently resides in Isla Vista, California. On October 10, 2017 Taglito submitted his original Bill of Rights to make John Lennon's song Imagine the co-national anthem, to Salud Carbajal (Member of Congress 24th District, California). Congressman Carbajal needs to know that the American people are behind this bill before he'll present it to the Washington DC House of Congress. Taglito is presently surveying native American Indians to see if they approve of Imagine as the co-national anthem. If native American Indians approve, Taglito plans to tackle a survey of the rest of Americans: "God willing and the creek don't rise."
