FOX SPORTS TEES UP COMPLETE BROADCAST SCHEDULE FOR 118th U.S. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

More Than 160 Hours of Live Multi-Platform Championship Action

FOX News, Channel & Radio Originate Live from Shinnecock Hills

New York – Just days from the start of the 118th U.S. Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, FOX Sports announces its full programming schedule and veteran crew of broadcasters delivering more than 160 hours of live championship coverage from Southampton, N.Y., from Thursday, June 14 through Sunday, June 17.

Highlighted by more than 45 hours of television coverage on Sports family of networks, including 23.5 hours scheduled for the FOX broadcast network, coverage from Shinnecock Hills begins Tuesday, June 12 at 4:30 PM ET on FS1 with the first-ever CELEBRATION OF CHAMPIONS, a new public exhibition featuring reigning USGA champions playing in friendly foursomes competition. On Wednesday, June 13 at 9:30 AM ET on FS1, WEDNESDAY AT THE U.S. OPEN brings viewers their first look at live practice round action, in addition to player interviews, special features and more.

On Thursday, June 14, first round competition is televised on FS1 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM ET, before moving to the FOX broadcast network from 4:30 to 7:30 PM ET, while second round action on Friday, June 15 airs on FS1 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET, before shifting to FOX from 4:30 to 7:30 PM ET. FOX televises third round coverage from 11:00 AM ET to 7:30 PM ET on Saturday, June 16 and final round coverage from 10:00 AM ET to 7:00 PM ET on Sunday, June 17. televises six hours of U.S. Open coverage in Spanish, from 4:30 to 7:30 PM ET on Saturday and 4:00 to 7:00 PM ET on Sunday. FOX Sports’ full U.S. Open coverage can be heard live on the radio via the FOX Sports SiriusXM channel (Channel 83).

Leading FOX Sports’ 2018 U.S. Open coverage is seven-time Emmy Award winner Joe Buck, who returns for his fourth championship and is joined in the 18th Tower for the third year by 1993 PGA Championship winner and lead analyst Azinger. Play-by-play announcer Shane Bacon and eight-time PGA Tour winner Brad Faxon also contribute to the call throughout the championship.

Two-time U.S. Open Champion Curtis Strange returns as an on-course commentator and is joined on the fairways by four-time PGA Tour winner Steve Flesch, PGA Tour veteran Brett Quigley and four-time European Tour winner Ken Brown. Brown also brings Shinnecock Hills to life with his popular “Brownie Points” series throughout the week.

Holly Sonders hosts studio coverage throughout the championship, while reporter Shane O’Donoghue conducts pre- and post-round interviews. Renowned course architect Gil Hanse provides course and design analysis, and former USGA Executive Director David Fay weighs in as rules expert. FOX Sports once again delivers extensive digital coverage of the U.S. Open. The FOX Sports App live streams all U.S. Open coverage provided by FS1 and the FOX broadcast network and offers ‘bonus’ content on three alternate streams created specifically for the event, presenting more than 115 hours of additional coverage.

The bonus feeds include two channels following featured groups and a channel dedicated to featured holes, available daily beginning Thursday, June 14 on the FOX Sports App, www.usopen.com and via the U.S. Open app.

Digital coverage is anchored by FOX Sports’ lead college football analyst Joel Klatt, who returns for his fourth U.S. Open to provide play-by-play for featured holes alongside 2007 PGA Tour winner and analyst Joe Ogilvie and renowned PGA professional and on-course reporter Michael Breed. Justin Kutcher, another FOX Sports multi-sport mainstay, provides play-by-play with 1996 PGA Championship winner and analyst Mark Brooks and PGA Tour veteran and on-course reporter Jay Delsing. Play-by- play announcer Dave Marr is joined by two-time Champions Tour winner and analyst Olin Browne and LPGA Tour veteran and on-course reporter Nicole Castrale. Rounding out the digital coverage are broadcaster Ned Michaels, former PGA Tour players Luke Elvy and Steve Scott and rules analyst and former USGA Executive Director Tom O’Toole.
