Exciting things are happening with the Daily Times! Saturday, September 12, we will begin our Daily Times Weekend edition (Saturday/Sunday publication). It will have many added features and enhanced content for our communities. Following the Weekend edition on Sept. 14, we will be publishing a Monday newspaper to you. With our new structure we can provide you - our readers and customers - with seven days of coverage – Monday-Saturday editions of the Daily Times and the Sunday Community Common.

And that is just the beginning. Having seven print editions each week allows us to draw on over 90-years’ experience in our newsroom to provide even deeper, broader coverage of our communities.

Friday Night Lights on Saturday No one is more enthusiastic about high school football than the residents of the Ohio River Valley. Our Daily Times Weekend edition (Saturday/Sunday), beginning on Sept. 12 will have increased stories and photos from Friday night action of area teams.

Beetle Bailey, Dennis the Menace, , They are coming back, too. Our weekend edition also welcomes back color comics featuring all your favorites.

Monday means business Our Monday newspaper will start the work week off by giving you a look at what is coming up in the business community. We have planned a lineup of feature stories offering insight into areas of our lives we touch every day such as; banking, health care, education and real estate and much more. Public records that tell the story of our lives also are coming back.

Know where to go! We did not save all the changes for the weekend, either. We have added pages to Thursday’s edition to help you plan the weekend. Whether you are looking for a little touch of culture or just looking for a laid-back good time, we will tell you what is happening, when and where.

I hope you find enjoyment in the coming features we are delivering in the seven days a week Daily Times and Community Common as we keep you informed about what is going on in your world.
