Please be prepared and bring food and drink to prevent dehydration/problems due to diabetes Please attend with a relative, friend of carer as we are unable to assist patients with basic bodily functions Using Mobility Scooters following screening: There is no legal eyesight requirement to drive mobility scooters or powered wheelchairs, but you should be able to read a car’s registration number from a distance of 12.3 metres (40 feet). You must check that you can still do this regularly. Driving and Operation of Heavy Machinery: Your eyes will be dilated using drops which make your eye sight blurred; therefore you may not be legal to drive. You should not attempt to drive until the effects of the drops have worn-off, which can take 4-6 hours. It also requires the local authority to formulate and publish proposals for the preservation or enhancement of these areas. An Appraisal was first produced for Talbot Street/Lichfield Street Conservation Area in 2005 and this document updates its predecessor making use of much of the information contained therein. The updates comprise some rearrangement of layout to accord with the house style developed subsequently, updates to the planning policy context following national and local policy changes, and references reflecting recent development and changes of use in the Conservation Area. This Appraisal seeks to provide a clear definition of the special architectural or historic interest that warranted designation of Talbot Street/Lichfield Street as a Conservation Area through a written appraisal of its character and appearance – what matters and why. The Appraisal is intended as a guide upon which to base the form and style of future development in the area. It is supported by adopted policy in Cannock Chase Local Plan (Part 1) 2014 CP15 seeking to protect and enhance the historic environment, policies CP12 and CP14 aiming to conserve biodiversity and landscape character and Policy CP3 seeking high standards of design.

The applicant has not taken into account db symmetry’s proposals which are coming forward for the Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange (HNRFI) at junction 2 of the M69. This scheme is considered to be a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP). It should be noted that this proposal is located within 5 miles of Nuneaton which is in the West Midlands. On this basis the Hinckley proposal is perfectly positioned to absorb a percentage of the capacity deemed to be essential at Four Ashes to service the Arc of the West Midlands. Accordingly, the scale of the West Midlands Interchange could be decreased. Paragraph 2.1 (b) states that the need for a SRFI development in this quadrant of the West Midlands has been identified since, at least, 2004. Identified by the Strategic Rail Authority 2004, the Strategic Rail Authority, West Midlands Regional Logistics Study; and successive drafts of the West Midlands Regional Spatial strategy which included conclusions of the appointed Examining Panel.
