• Seating for Guests with Club Banquet Chairs or White Folding Garden Chairs* • 1 Hour Rehearsal prior to the Event (must be scheduled through the Private Events Department) • Bridal Dressing Room up to 3 hours prior to your ceremony • Special Enhancements can be arranged for you through the Private Events Department • PA system and up to 3 microphones Alumni Hall III can accommodate up to 175 people for a seated ceremony. The Terrace can accommodate up to 100 people for a seated ceremony.

An approved Professional Wedding Coordinator is required to direct your wedding ceremony. We can provide you with referrals, but do not require that you select from an approved list. In order to provide you with the best service possible, your professional wedding coordinator cannot be a guest of the wedding or a family member.

GENERAL INFORMATION Our Private Events Director will work with you through the months to prepare a timeline for the day, assist you in menu planning, prepare a room diagram to create the perfect atmosphere for your guests, make suggestions of wedding vendors and guide you through this exciting time. PARKING Parking may be reserved in UNC’s Ramshead Deck, adjacent to The Carolina Club, and charged to your account at a charge of $7 per space for evenings and $5 per space on weekends. We also offer the option of not reserving spaces, but charging parking tickets to your account at a charge of $1.50 per hour, per car parked in the deck. If you prefer for your guests to be responsible for their own parking, they may use the deck at $1.50 per hour, or they may park on Stadium Drive if parking is available at no charge. MEMBERSHIP The Carolina Club is a ClubCorp private business and social Club for Club Members, associate Club Members, associate Club Members and their sponsored guests. Membership is not required to host an event at The Carolina Club, but guest fees will apply. For Membership information, please contact The Club’s Membership Director at 919-962-1101. DRESS CODE “Upscale” Business casual dress is the appropriate attire in The Club’s banquet facilities. Business casual is defined as collared shirt and dress slacks for gentlemen. Athletic attire, sneakers, t-shirts and shorts are not permitted. PRIVATE DINING ROOM ASSIGNMENT & RENTAL Sponsored guests are charged a guest fee based on room size. The Club reserves the right to relocate events according to the guaranteed number of attendees if it varies significantly from the original proposed number. The event should not exceed the stated times listed on the function sheet. FOOD AND BEVERAGE SELECTIONS Our menus are general guidelines that The Carolina Club uses to prepare your special event. Our Executive Chef will gladly design a custom menu for your event based on any dietary, religious or cultural needs you may have. The Carolina Club does not allow food or beverage of any kind to be brought onto or taken off of Club premises, with the exception of specialty cakes. BEVERAGE CONSUMPTION Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the Club from outside sources. The North Carolina Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control regulates alcoholic beverages, and The Carolina Club is responsible for the administration of these regulations. The Club reserves the right to discontinue service at our discretion. SERVICE CHARGE & SALES TAX All food and beverage purchases are subject to a 7.5% Sales Tax and an automatic 20% Service Charge, a portion of which may be distributed by the Club to certain food and beverage service employees. The Service Charge is not a tip or gratuity. Our packages include this charge and tax in the quoted price. COMPLIMENTARY COAT CHECK A coat room is available at no additional charge for your event. SET UP The Carolina Club is happy to assist you with set-up of your personalized wedding items. These may include champagne flutes, cake knife and server, favors, guest book, place cards and centerpieces. WEDDING CAKE SERVICE The Carolina Club staff will slice and serve your wedding cake for your guests as part of our package. FINAL GUEST GAURUNTEE A guaranteed number of guests is required 7 business days prior to your event. You may increase your guest count at any time after the due date, but you may not reduce it. PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due at the time of contract signing. This non-refundable deposit will be applied to the total cost of the event. A second deposit of 50% of the estimated cost is due 60 days prior to your event. The remaining 50% is due no later than 7 days prior to your event. Final billing will be determined the week following your event. CANCELLATION POLICY If it is necessary to cancel your event, The Carolina Club will retain the nonrefundable deposit and will be entitled to a cancellation fee as follows: If cancelled more than 121 days prior to the event – 40% of the estimated cost If cancelled 120 days to 90 days prior to the event – 50% of the estimated cost If cancelled 89 days to 45 days prior to the event – 75% of the estimated cost If cancelled less than 45 days prior to the event – 90% of the estimated cost

General Directions The Ramshead Deck is the primary facility for all events at The Carolina Club.
Entry is from Ridge Road at the gates specifically marked for Visitor Entry. Upon entering, pull a ticket from the automated machine. The most convenient access to the Club is on the 3 rd level. Signage on the 3 rd level will direct you to a bridge that leads directly to the George Watts Hill Alumni Center. GPS Address is 104 Ridge Road.
Coming from Durham: Take 15-501 South by-pass; cross over the Hwy 54 bridge. At the second light turn right onto Manning Drive. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Ridge Road. Turn left into the Ramshead Deck.
Coming from Pittsboro: Take 15-501 by-pass North. Turn left on Manning Drive. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Ridge Road. Turn left into Ramshead Deck.
Coming from Raleigh and RDU Airport: Take I-40 West to Exit 273A (Hwy 54 West/Dean Smith Center) toward Chapel Hill & UNC. Drive under the Hwy 15-501 bridge, then drive up the hill and turn left at the first light onto Country Club. Take an immediate rigth onto Ridge Road. Pass Boshamer Baseball Stadium on your left and Stadium Drive on your right. Pass the tunnel entrance, then turn right into the Ramshead Deck Visitors Entry.
Coming from Greensboro: Take I-40 East to Exit 273A (Hwy 54 West/Dean Smith Center) toward Chapel Hill & UNC. Drive under the Hwy 15-501 bridge, then drive up the hill and turn left at the first light onto Country Club. Take an immediate rigth onto Ridge Road.
