The consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards consistently applied, using management’s best estimates and judgments, where appropriate. Preparation of financial statements is an integral part of management’s broader responsibilities for the ongoing operations of the Company. Management maintains a system of internal accounting controls to ensure that properly approved transactions are accurately recorded on a timely basis and result in reliable financial statements. The Company’s external auditors are appointed by the shareholders. They independently perform the necessary tests of the Company’s accounting records and procedures to enable them to express an opinion as to the fairness of the consolidated financial statements, in conformity with International Financial Reporting Standards.
