The Friesian Fall Classic Sale Committee reserves the right to reject any horse for any reason including,: unsoundness, poor condition and improper documentation of registration or Health & Coggins papers. COMMISSION ON HORSES: 5% up to $5,000 2% over $5,000 up to $15,000 $100 minimum $450 max No Sale/No Show $100. You will be charged $100 for not bringing the consigned horse without a vet statement or a substitution. TERMS: Cash, day of sale in U.S. Funds. If you are not known to Topeka Livestock Auction or the Friesian Fall Classic committee, you MUST bring a current bank letter of credit, certified check or cash. Credit or Debit payments will be charged a 3% fee. CHECK IN: No horse will be allowed on the grounds without current, original Coggins and health papers. The paperwork must arrive with the horse. All consignors are responsible for their own feed and hay. All horses must have a new halter and lead rope or one will be provided by TLA at the seller’s expense. REGISTRATIONS: Registration papers will be given to the buyer of the horse. WARRANTIES: Ages, heights, markings and physical conditions are an approximate and are not guaranteed. It is the buyer’s responsibility to examine the horse before bidding. All sales are final. If there is an error in the catalog, the auctioneer or pedigree man will announce it before a horse is sold. All recommendations and statements from the auction block are recorded and this will take precedence over the printed catalog. GUARANTEE: Each consignor of this sale will make what guarantees they care to give regarding title, quality or soundness on their equine and will be totally responsible for what guarantees they make. These guarantees will be announced at the time the animal is placed for sale. No guarantees, expressed or implied,

Any and all claims made based on the seller’s presentation, guarantees or omissions will be made against the seller and not against Topeka Livestock Auction, any of it’s employees or the sale committee. SELLERS RECOMMENDING HORSES: TLA requests that sellers recommend their horses like they would like to buy them- announce all soundness and unsoundness on horses. CHECK OUT: No horse will be allowed to leave without a load out sheet indicating full payment has been received. All owners are responsible for their horses until the hammer falls and full responsibility transfers immediately to the buyer. All horses must be removed from TLA by 6 pm Saturday Oct 19, 2019 unless other arrangements are made with the sale committee. LIABILITY: Buyers and spectators are cautioned to take care of themselves while in or near the barns or sale ring. We urge all to keep clear of the sale ring or where the horses are being shown, and upon failure to do so, and resultant injury therefrom, the Topeka Livestock Auction, or any of the members of the committee handling the sale, or consignor, disclaims any liability. TRANSIT STALLS: Transit stalls will be available for $50.00 per event. Fees must be paid in the office. Stalls will be available for early arrival on Friday. Please contact a Sale Committee Member prior to make arrangements.
