PGM1 Rabbit pAb

Catalog No.: A13679

Basic Information Background

Catalog No. The encoded by this is an isozyme of (PGM) and A13679 belongs to the phosphohexose mutase family. There are several PGM isozymes, which are encoded by different and catalyze the transfer of between the 1 Observed MW and 6 positions of . In most cell types, this PGM isozyme is predominant, 61kDa representing about 90% of total PGM activity. In red cells, PGM2 is a major isozyme. This gene is highly polymorphic. Mutations in this gene cause type Calculated MW 14. Alternativley spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been 40kDa/61kDa/63kDa identified in this gene.
