LEAGUE RACING
World Class Formula 1, Indy Car, IMSA and NASCAR drivers all emphasize the importance of fun and excitement of kart racing. Nearly 90% of current Formula 1 drivers began their careers in karts, including Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. 75% of current and past Indy Car drivers, including Michael Andretti, Marco Andretti, Paul Tracy and Tony Kanaan, also started out in karting, and NASCAR racers Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray and Juan Pablo Montoya were kart racers first. Indoor Karting at V-17 is the most affordable and easily accessible form of motor sports, year round. There are no start-up costs, no short race days due to mechanical failures and no rain outs. We provide helmets, neck braces and karts, all you have to do is register and get racing!
Who is invited? League racing is currently open to adults, ages 18 years and older, who have a valid d river’s license and are Velocity 17 Members.
When? Registration is now open for the Spring League, which begins Monday, April 7th, 2009.

A $275.00 Registration Fee (plus 7% Sales Tax) is required to take part. You will race on 4 League nights (5 races per night) and in the Grand Final Championship (two races) on May 11th, 2009. LEAGUE SCHEDULE
League Racing will take place on the following Monday nights starting at 7:30 PM. April: 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th. The Grand Final Championship will take place on Monday, May 11th, 2009. Please note, we cannot offer any refunds if you are unable to attend all dates. Spring 2009 Adult Semi-Pro League- Terms and Conditions
As a driver in our race league championship, you will race on 4 league nights.
All drivers must adhere to the flags and rules of Velocity 17.
T his is a race championship event and we expect all drivers to treat their fellow drivers and officials with the upmost respect. Failure to adhere to this may result in penalties or suspension from a race event.
The race official is in charge of all races, and the final results of each hear will subject to confirmation by the race official. The race official has the final decision.
Sign in will be at 7:30 PM with a 8:00 PM start. Everyone racing that night must be present at the driver briefing. If you are not in attendance for the driver briefing you will not be racing. There are no exceptions.
There will be five weeks of racing. For the first four weeks, there will be 5 races a night in the following order: 1 practice race, 1 qualifier race and 3 races which will be scored on a point scale. The fifth week is the Grand Final Championship.
Qualification for the Grand Final will be based on an aggregate of your score over four weeks of racing nights.
The Grand Final will have two competitive grided races. Awards will be given out to the top 3 racers.
This Entry Form represents a contract between the Driver and Velocity 17 (V-17.) V-17 Contracts to provide a Racing League to the Driver. The Driver commits to pay the Entry Fee and agrees to participate in the Racing League in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of Velocity 17. This Contract will be held inoperative in the event that V-17 is unable to uphold the same; due to strikes, accidents or any event/cause as described as accidents, beyond V-17’s control.
