Silent Auction To support our Sister Parish, St. Benedict the African Parish in Ilungu, Tanzania. Welcome to our Silent Auction Webpage! This is an in-person Silent Auction. Please wear a face covering and practice social distancing while viewing items and/or bidding. Location: Christ the King Parish Fellowship Hall. Address: 5306 Main Street, McFarland, Dates/Hours: Saturday, May 15, 2021, Noon - 3:00 pm and 6:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday, May 16, 2021, 8:00 am - Noon Saturday, May 22, 2021, Noon - 3:00 pm and 6:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday, May 23, 2021, 8:00 am - Noon Bidding: Bidding Sheets will be posted next to each item, with a picture and description. Print your Name, Bid Amount, and Phone Number for each item for which you are placing a bid. Remember: bid early and bid often! Close of Auction: Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Noon The high bid will be announced. If that person is not in attendance, they will be called. Payment and Pick-up of Items: Payment and pick-up of items may be made at the close of the Auction. Cash or Checks only. Additional times: Mon - Thurs (5/24-5/27) during Parish Office hours - 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Note: Any item not paid for and picked up by 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 27, will be awarded to the person with the next highest bid. 50/50 Raffle: Tickets for the 50/50 Raffle will be available during Auction Hours. The Winner of the Raffle will be selected at the close of the Auction, prior to the announcement of the high bids. You do not need to be in attendance to win. A special gift Description: Beautiful quilt made from Kanga fabric. from Fr. Minde. It features a delightful pattern of black, navy, yellow and off-white; and a proverb in Swahili (Tumpe Mungu Shukurani) which in English is “Give God Thanks”. The fabric, a gift from our Sister Parish, was made into a quilt by parishioner, Char Dugan.
