The cancellation of Trick or Drink was announced October 14th, the eve¬ ning before the fall recess. Dean McIntosh spoke about the need for making a “safer, smarter” social community at Bates. The move comes in concordance with the clearly set prec¬ edent that President Spencer initiated at the beginning of the academic year via email. The student body reaction has been heard loudly and clearly.
