ORLANDO SHABBATON TUF students ran a Shabbaton at the recently established outreach center in Orlando, “I Am Jewish”. 30 people joined for the minyan, and great meals filled with songs and Divrei Torah. TUF alum - Rabbi Avshalom and Sara (Holzer) Baskin, moved to Orlando area last fall to work with the many Jews in the area searching for Torah-true Yiddishkeit. Similar Bachurim Shabbatons are planned during the coming year in other South Rosh HaYeshiva’s Pre-Pesach shiur Florida communities.
