Hill’s three goals, #147, #148, and #149 for her career, tied and broke the old record held by Courtney Banghart of Souhegan (147 goals). THE MECKLENBURG COUNTY REGION SPORTS COMPLEX STADIUM MARKET ANALYSIS AND PROGRAMMING STUDY THE TOWN OF MATTHEWS MARCH 2014 REPORT INSPIRE. EMPOWER. ADVANCE. THE TOWN OF MATTHEWS I THE MECKLENBURG COUNTY SPORTSPLEX AT MATTHEWS The Town of Matthews (the “Town”) engaged Brailsford & Dunlavey (“B&D”) in October 2013 to conduct a market analysis and programming study (the “Study”) for the stadium component of the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews (the “Sportsplex”). The Study began with an overview of the previous analysis and stadium component recommendations completed by Woolpert, Inc. (“Woolpert”) in 2007. Following this review, B&D completed a series of market and benchmarking analyses that influenced a series of market-based stadium scenarios and associated economic impact projections. The results were shared with the Town Board on November 11, 2013 and January 13, 2014. This memorandum will provide a summary of B&D’s findings as the Town works with Mecklenburg County officials to finalize the Sportsplex Phase II design prior to implementation. The findings contained herein represent B&D’s professional opinions based upon the assumptions and conditions detailed in this report. B&D conducted research using both primary and secondary information sources which are deemed reliable, but whose accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Throughout the development of the Study, Mr. Hazen Blodgett (Town Manager) was B&D’s primary contact. Mr. Blodgett facilitated communication and coordination with the Town and the Project Team. B&D would like to acknowledge his support and thank him for his efforts. B&D would also like to acknowledge the support, cooperation, and effort of the Town’s Board of Trustees and the Town employees who contributed to the completion of this programming effort, with special recognition to the following project stakeholders: Mr.

  • Nate Hardy Remembrance and Seacoast United Nike Indoor Cup
Nate Hardy Remembrance and Seacoast United On Wednesday, February 4th, 2015, the Club would like to pay tribute to Nate Hardy on the seven year anniversary of his death. Seacoast United players wore Club gear in remembrance of Nate. To view photos please click here! Nate played on Seacoast United's inaugural U14 team in 1992/93. His brother Ben played for the U16's as the two teams laid the foundation for our Club. Their father Dr. Steve Hardy, co-founder of the Club, became Seacoast United's first President at the time and helped guide the Club through its early years. While Nate played soccer for the Club and Oyster River High School, his ambition in life was to join the Navy and become a SEAL. I'd like to believe that his time on the soccer field helped him meet his goal as he simply had the heart of a lion and never ever gave up. On top of that he was a great teammate to his friends on and off the field. Upon joining the Navy, nothing was going to get in his way and with dedication and dogged determination Nate became an elite member of Navy SEAL Team 6. He graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) in 1998 and served his country proudly for ten years as a SEAL. Nate was killed in action in Iraq on February 4th, 2008 alongside his fellow SEAL Michael Koch of State College, PA. They are buried side by side in Arlington National Cemetery. Seacoast United dedicated Field 1 at the Club's Outdoor Complex in Epping as "Nate's Field" in 2009 and the Seacoast United Foundation has an International Scholarship in Nate's name.
