First of all, the Introduction fascinating “prehistory” (early Thirties) where a few pioneering publishers and creators established a Disney Most of us die-hard Disney fans are in love with those presence in Italy. Then a look at some of the authors, seen comics since our earliest childhood; indeed, many of us through their creations. Because comics are such an learnt to read from the words in Donald’s and Mickey’s obviously visual medium, the graphical artists tend to get balloons. Few of us, though, knew anything about the the lion’s share of the critics’ attention; to compensate for creators of these wonderful comics: they were all this, I have decided to concentrate on the people who calligraphically signed by that “Walt Disney” guy in the actually invent the stories, the script writers (though even first page so we confidently believed that, somewhere in thus I’ve had to miss out many good ones).     2013 - Une année de bandes dessinées sur le territoire francophone européen © Gilles Ratier, secrétaire général de l’ACBD / www.acbd.fr Une année de bandes dessinées sur le territoire francophone européen 2013 : l’année de la décélération par Gilles Ratier, secrétaire général de l’ACBD Dans un contexte économique et social complexe et morose, les différents acteurs du 9e art ralentissent un tant soit peu leur offre éditoriale : pour la première fois, depuis au moins 17 ans, la production d’albums de bande dessinée, qui reste pourtant encore très abondante et diversifiée, a diminué. Arrivé à maturité depuis plusieurs années, le secteur livre du 9e art se concentre et trouve, quand même, un équilibre entre dynamisme et vigilance ou innovation et prudence : d’autant plus facilement qu’il s’appuie sur plusieurs locomotives traditionnelles qui sont de retour, Astérix en tête. 1- Production – Tout en conservant une constante multiplicité des genres et des publics, l’offre de bande dessinée marque le pas : 5 159 livres de bande dessinée ont été publiés en 2013 (dont seulement 3 882 strictes nouveautés) – soit une diminution de 7,3 %. 2- Édition – La production et l’activité du secteur sont toujours dominées par 4 groupes de plus en plus puissants qui totalisent 43,7 % de la production – contre 44,9 % en 2012 –, alors que 332 éditeurs ont publié des bandes dessinées en 2013 (contre 326 l’an passé). 3- Évaluation – Boosté par le nouvel Astérix, l’économie de la bande dessinée, dans son ensemble, fait partie des secteurs du livre qui résistent le mieux à la crise ; même si le tirage de ses 117 titres bénéficiant de fortes mises en place est encore en baisse.
