NEWS & NOTES HAPPY AT HOME BONNER BOND Miami has won 56 of its last 70 games at the Watsco Center, Miami’s Isaiah Wong and Wake Forest’s Tariq Ingraham are both 2019 graduates of Monsignor Bonner High School 56 good for an .800 winning percentage. WALKING WOUNDED WINNING WAYS The Hurricanes have had eight or fewer healthy scholarship players in their last 11 games, including just six in one With a 657-443 career record, Jim Larrañaga ranks No. 10 in and only seven in two others. Six of Miami’s 10 active scholarship players, including four primary starters, have victories among active DI coaches and places No. 38 all-time missed at least one game due to injury, with four sitting out at least three outings and two missing 13-plus. More information can be found on page six. 2019-20 SCHEDULE HELPING HANDS On Jan. 2, DJ Vasiljevic created a GoFundMe account to raise money for the New South Wales Rural Fire Service to aid its bushfire crisis relief in his home country of Australia. It has already generated over $9,500, including DATE OPPONENT TIME/SCORE (TV) $150 from Vasiljevic, who is donating $5 for every 3-pointer he makes in ACC play (30 in 14 outings thus far).
