The opening match on Cancha Central is the third meeting between No. 3 seed Marin Cilic and qualifier Ryan Harrison (Cilic leads 2-0). Cilic enters on the heels of reaching his 24th career ATP World Tour final at Marseille (l. to Kyrgios). Harrison, who reached the semi-finals here last year (l. to Ferrer), is looking for his second tour-level win of the year. Following is a first time meeting between the Top seed and four-time champion David Ferrer and Aussie John Millman. The World No. 8 Ferrer has reached the quarter-finals or better in four of five events played this year. The 26-year-old Millman is making his tournament debut and is looking for his first win over a Top 10 opponent in his third meeting. The last match of the day on Cancha Central sees the 2014 champion and No. 7 seed Grigor Dimitrov facing American Denis Kudla. The 24-year-old Dimitrov won their only previous meeting in straight sets in the second round at 2011 Newport.
