BRITISH TRIO EDMUND, WARD, BEDENE IN ACTION

 DAY 2 PREVIEW: There are nine first round and two second round singles matches on Monday’s schedule at the Aegon Open Nottingham. In the opening match on Centre Court, of Tunisia takes on British No. 3 . In the next match on, big-serving Aussie takes on German qualifier . In the third match on, British wild card James Ward plays American Tim Smyczek for the first time. Ward reached the quarter-finals here in 2010. In the final match on, German teenager squares off with No. 13 seed of Brazil in the second round. On Court 1, No. 4 of Argentina is the highest seed in action against Korean teenager Hyeon Chung in the other second round match.

 TEENAGERS IN ACTION – Two of the three teenagers in the main draw won 1R matches on Sunday as Alexander Zverev (18) of Germany and Hyeon Chung (19) of Korea advanced in straight sets. Both are in 2R play on Monday along with American Taylor Harry Fritz (17), who is the No. 1 junior in the world after reaching the Roland Garros boys’ final two weeks ago. Fritz, who is making his main draw debut on the ATP World Tour, takes on Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta in the final match on Court 1. Fritz is No. 761 in the Emirates ATP Rankings.
