Set on the grounds of the first European settlement on the South Coast of New South Wales (est 1822) Coolangatta Estate offers a truly unique wedding experience. Located 2 hours south of Sydney, the 130ha property is surrounded by vineyards, farmland and coastal views. The property offers onsite indoor and outdoor ceremony locations and three reception areas to choose from. For the wedding ceremony, the historic chapel can seat 60 to 100 (standing) persons. Several locations are suitable for an outdoor garden wedding, such as in the shade of the large Moreton Bay Fig tree, which overlooks Coolangatta’s sweeping vineyard countryside. Ceremony With your choice of location, may we suggest under the shade of the historic Moreton Bay fig tree or the privacy of the Croquet Lawns. We provide 20 white folding chairs and a clothed signing table. Let your decorator personalise to your wishes and design. Inclement weather venue in the historic Chapel included. An onsite ceremony is included in your Wedding Package Reception ‘Crows Nest Function Room’ Our largest Reception area the Crows Nest Function Room is open plan and boasts a private bar, historic open fireplace and private lounge . The Crows Nest is the perfect place to let your dreams unfold. Seats up to 150 guests with a dance floor or 200 guests without a dance floor. ‘Great Hall ’ For a more intimate wedding the heritage listed Great Hall is a truly unique venue. Built in 1832 this historical setting has a mezzanine level, private bar and lounge. The Great Hall can seat up to 80 guests. ‘Alexanders’ For a more contemporary reception with spectacular coastal views over the Shoalhaven River, Alexanders is the perfect location for a lunch time wedding. Alexanders can seat up to 80 guests. The Elizabeth Berry Package 5 Hour Package - Minimum 60 Guests Includes: Onsite Ceremony Location set with 20 white folding chairs, carpet and clothed signing table. Inclement weather venue. 5 Hour Venue Hire Starts at the organised commencement time of your Reception. Applies to weddings booked for dates in January 2020 and February 2020. Minimum 60 guests. Excludes Sundays and Public Holidays. Do you hold tentative dates? Yes, we hold dates tentatively for a period of 14 days. What You Need to Know How do I book & what do you require for a booking? To make a booking contact the Event Co-Ordinator who will require you to provide a few details – Wedding Date, Full Name of both the Bride & Groom, Contact Details & your basic requirements. A deposit of $2000 will be required at this time. Once your deposit has been paid & receipt will be sent to you via email & contract sent out in the mail for you to sign & return to the Event Co-Ordinator. We require no further details until at least 6 weeks prior to your Wedding date. Do you have a venue hire fee? No this is all included in the per person costing. Do you do lunch time weddings & what time can we stay until? You are more than welcome to book a lunch time wedding. Normally the conclusion time would be 4.00pm. Can we BYO? Do you serve spirits? Coolangatta Estate is a fully licensed venue & do not allow patrons, guests or invitees to bring liquor onto the premises. We are licensed to sell liquor until 12 midnight. You are able to purchase spirits but due to RSA laws we do not serve double shots or straight spirits. I have booked your venue, what next?
