At the beginning of the 20th century, the Café de la Marine in Fleurville was a notable meeting spot. At the time, the establishment was being run by Mr. and Mrs. François. They enjoyed a very loyal clientele among the bargemen navigating the Saône. This café was highly appreciated among travelers for its comfortable family atmosphere. But we'll be focusing our attention on one very specifi c patron who is very well known in French literature. This individual visited the café on several occasions accompanied by his friend the celebrated Jewish philosopher Léon Werth. Inspector Rando, spending his holidays in one of Fleurville's hotels, heads out in search of this universally recognized author. And what about you, will you be able to identify him?

Hundreds and hundreds of years ago, the territory of modern-day Fleurville had already been used for transit. Several peoples and civilizations migrated past one another and even settled here. According to old legend, Celtic people would have settled in Fleurville. An artifact can indeed prove their presence in our vicinity! An ophthalmologist's bag dating from that period was fi shed out of the Saône riverbed a few years ago. While vacationing with his grandfather in Fleurville, Martin heads out to identify this mysterious fi sherman responsible for the fi nd! He even decides to call on the services of Inspector Rando, who after collecting a few clues, was able to draw up a list of possible fi shermen who may have reeled in the bag.
