Australian Public Service Gazette Page 3 of 158 PS15 Daily Gazette Friday - 16 April 2021 This role is full time and for a fixed term of 6 months at ACECQA Band 5 ($87,752 – $106,928) For the full position description please go to https://www.acecqa.gov.au/work-with-us Duties About You To be successful in this role you will need: Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of OSHC-specific service leadership and quality practices, programs and contexts, including an understanding of contemporary practice, and demonstrated familiarity with the NQF, including related legislation, learning frameworks and sector resources. Demonstrated experience in the development of informative and engaging resources, training and other good practice advice for the delivery of quality education and care programs and services. Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and conceptualise complex multifaceted concepts and issues, and translate this knowledge to program or project outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and negotiate confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to use a range of technology and learn new systems quickly and efficiently. While not essential, the following attributes will greatly assist you in the role: Experience working in, or knowledge of, more than one service type in the education and care sector. The TAG comprises a group of four members each with specialist expertise who are recognised authoritative subject matter experts in the field of electrical engineering and the operation of electricity networks and grid systems, as applied in Australia’s energy sector. The Senior Technical Advisor operates, in coordination with other TAG members, as an internal expert consultant providing advice to the AER Board, and AER staff in meeting the AER objectives. Specifically, the Senior Technical Advisor brings expert engineering advice to the AER across a number of areas: Technical support in energy network revenue determination reviews. Enhancing the value and delivery of external technical contracts for network revenue determination reviews. Technical support and advice in relation to AER led compliance and enforcement activities. Technical support in relation to strategic work and policy programs that the AER is leading or contributing to. Providing information and training to staff on the structure and technology of the energy sector, and on the identification of future trends and technology issues that may impact the role of the AER.
