Catherine Trottmann, Soprano Nominated in the "Most promising lyrical artist" category of the "Victoires de la Musique 2017" and "HSBC Laureate 2017" of the Aix-en-Provence international Festival, soprano Catherine Trottmann was early noticed for the richness of her timbre and her stage investment. A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de in 2014, she was immediately offered some of the most emblematic roles in the repertoire.

Her career has already led her to sing the roles of Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées and at the Edinburgh Festival, Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) at the Opéra National du Rhin, Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette) at the Opéra de Nice, Siebel (Faust) at the Opéra de Saint-Étienne, Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Opéra de Lausanne, Flora ( La Traviata) at the Wiener Staatsoper and at the Opéra national de Paris, Tisbé (La Cenerentola) at the Wiener Staatsoper, Cunégonde (Le Roi Carotte) at the Opéra national de Lyon, the title role of L'Enfant et les sortilèges at the Opéra de Limoges, Diane (Iphigénie en Tauride) at the Théâtre des Champs Élysée, Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel) at the Opéra de Metz, Zaïda (Il Turco in Italia) at the Opéra de Dijon, or the title role in Tistou les Pouces verts by Sauguet at the Opéra de Rouen.

She also created the character of La Rose (Levinas' Le Petit Prince) at the Opéra de Lausanne, then at the Opéra de Lille, the Grand Théâtre de Genève and the Théâtre du Châtelet.

In concert, she sang Debussy's La Demoiselle Élue with the Orchestre National d'Île-de- at the and Ravel's L'Enfant et les sortilèges at the , Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Konzerthaus Dortmund and Don Giovanni at the Musikfest Bremen, alongside the Cercle de l'harmonie, Berlioz's Les Nuits d'été with the Orchestre Régional de Normandie, Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream with the National Orchestras of Lyon and Lorraine, Saint-Saëns' Oratorio de Noël with the New Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, Honegger's Le Roi David at the Salle Pleyel and Notre-Dame de Paris, Beethoven's Mass in C at the Avignon , or the French creation of Leonid Desyatnikov's Illusions perdues with the Bolshoi Theatre at the Palais Garnier.

She performs regularly in recitals, notably at the Easter Festival in Aix-en-Provence, but also at the Berlin Philharmonic alongside the Berliner Symphoniker and at Carnegie Hall in New York.
