This Is One of My Favorite Full-Band Mark Kozelek Performances So I Figured I'd Share It Here Thanks to z11111 for sharing the Hultsfred show at Dime. z11111 noted: This is one of my favorite full-band Mark Kozelek performances so I figured I'd share it here. Many songs from Old Ramon are performed, four years before the record was released, and some (such as "Michigan") are entirely different than the versions found on the studio album. Unfortunately, a radio announcer comes in at the end of the last track which is disappointing and kind of brings down the vibe for me. Aside from being pretty loud/slightly distorted, this is a fantastic recording. Lineage: FM broadcast > ??? > CD-R + + + + + Thanks to nashspacerocket; and to roman79 for sharing 1989 demos at Dime. roman79 noted: nashspacerocket October 2015: The tape I have just says 'RHP Aug 89 demos' with no track listing, and was given to me years ago by a musician who lived and still lives in the bay area when I still lived in England. It's homemade so probably a tape dub. Just listened to it and it sounds great apart from a little dropout on one track. The track listing appears to be: 1 Strawberry Hill, 2 21, 3 The Bridge, 4 A Million And Eight Things, 5 Headsore. I downloaded a zip file of early demos in mp3 form and the songs are way better quality than that and also longer because they are the correct speed. ** Strawberry Hill is an alternate version. The other four tracks are still unreleased in any official form to my knowledge. Though these songs are circulating as part of a more comprehensive mp3 bootleg 'early demos 91/92'.
