COVID -19 RELIEF SERVICES SRI SATHYA SAI SEVA ORGANISATION, MANIPUR SRI SATHYA SAI SEVA ORGANISATION, MANIPUR. COVID-19 RELIEF SERVICES With immense blessings of our Beloved Lord Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, Manipur has been undertaking the opportunity of providing food packets and Amrut Kalashams as a part of COVID services during the ongoing Nationwide lockdown with strict adherence to the existing guidelines. Donation to CM’s COVID 19 Relief Fund: Members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Manipur deposited cash and kind to the State Trust as a part of their contribution for Aradhana Diwas celebration from their savings. The state trust donated a sum of Rs. 1,00,000 (one lakh only) to the Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund on 24/04/2020 (SSS Aradhana Mahotsavam). Honourable Chief Minister Manipur receiving a cheque from our Trust Distribution of cooked food: Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Manipur provided cooked food, 1200 meals (200/day for 6 days) for lunch to the staffs and attendants of the inmate patients of the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) Hospital, Porompat, Imphal East for six days (28/04/2020 to 03/05/2020) through the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital. Receiving letter of appreciation from the Medical Superintendent, JNIMS Hospital, Imphal East by our Jt. Service Co-Ordinator Donation of cooked food packets for migrant workers: One Thousand Five Hundred (1500) (500/day for 3 days) food packets were donated to the food bank set up by the district administration of Imphal East District from 30/04/2020 to 02/05/2020 for migrant workers of the district. It was done on request made by the Deputy Commissioner of the district to our organization. Receiving our cooked food Packets by the Deputy Commissioner Imphal East at the Food bank Distributing our food packets to the migrant workers by DC and ADC, Imphal East. Twenty Five (25) nos. of food packets were also distributed to the migrant workers living in the town of Ningthoukhong, Bishnupur District, Manipur. Distribution of Amrut Kalasham : One (1) Amrut Kalasham was handed over to a needy family of Laphupat Tera, Imphal West on 14/04/2020 through police personnels of Manipur Police Department. Distributing our Amrut Kalasham by Kumbi Police personnels Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh Sponsored Cooked Food Items And Amrut Kalashamss To Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Manipur, A Unit Of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India When the next phase of lockdown was announced and we were in the hope of continuing with our service, our respected All India President advised us to make a project proposal in case we intend to continue our Seva activity of providing food packets and Amrut Kalashams. Accordingly, we prepared a project proposal and submitted to the All India President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India.With the immense blessings of Our Beloved Bhagawan, fund for distributing 750 Amrut Kalashams and 1260 packets of cooked food at a cost of Rs.6,63,000/- (Rupees six lakhs and sixty three thousand) only was made available by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust , Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh to Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Manipur. Donation of cooked food packets for the migrant workers: Two Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty (2520) cooked food packets (210) each for lunch and dinner for six days from 27/05/2020 to 01/06/2020), 650 biscuit packets for snacks were donated to the food bank of Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East. In addition to this, 20 PPEs were also donated. Food Packets sponsored by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam were donated to the Food Bank set up by DC and further distributed to migrant workers at Imphal. Distribution of Amrut Kalashams in various parts of the State through their respective Deputy Commissioers : One Hundred and Thirty (130) Amrut Kalashams containing rice, two varieties of dal, potato, onion, edible oil, salt, sugar, tea packets, milk powder packets , toilet soaps and a washing powder packet were donated to the district administration of Imphal East District and distributed on 02/06/2020 by the Sub Divisional Officer, Sawombung and his team at Sangsabi, Imphal East with our sevadals and office bearers who packed and transported the items to the distribution point. It was Bhagawan's immense blessings to enable the state unit of SSSSO to reach out at the eastern most region of India and perform Seva Activity of Bhagawan at Moreh, Indo- Myanmar trading town where no unit of SSSSO exist by providing the Amrut Kalashams to stranded migrant workers mostly returning from Myanmar to Bihar. 200 Amrut Kalashamss were donated to the district administration of Tengnoupal district and handed over to the ADC at Moreh for distribution to the migrant workers as most of them have stayed at state capital. State President and State Gents Youth Coordinator of our organization were present when the first distribution was organised by the ADC of the district. All the devotees of Manipur are very happy to know that Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh sponsored food items for undertaking seva activities of our LORD in this region of the country. On 04/06/2020, 33 (thirty three) Amrut Kalashams were handed over to the food bank of ADC, Tengnoupal District for the migrant workers at Moreh. The same was distributed to 30 migrant workers returning from Myanmar. Another 167 Amrut Kalashams were also sent to ADC, Tengnoupal District on 05/06/2020. It was distributed by the ADC to the migrant workers on 07/06/20202. ADC Moreh, Border town dristributing Amrut Kalashams to migrant workers from Bihar Three Hundred (300) Amrut Kalashams were handed over by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Manipur to the food bank of DC, Imphal West District on 05/06/2020 and were distributed to the migrant workers and labourers by the district administration at Kangjabi Leirak. Fifty Five (55) Amrut Kalashams were handed over to the Deputy Comissioner, Thoubal on 05/06/2020 for migrant workers and needy people. Out of which 25 beneficiaries were identified from community radio. Amrut Kalashams received by DC Kakching for distribution to migrant workers Ten (24) Amrut Kalashamss were handed over to needy people from different places of Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal and Bishnupur districts who were identified as really needy by samithis and have sought help through community radio and also approached to us directly over phone.
