You can select up Student Wellness: Kitchen Monitor/Cooking Instructor to two (2) positions when you submit your application. At the time of your application, these units may or may not be hiring (see website for current openings). If one or both units are not hiring, your application will stay on file for one academic year and reviewed the next time those units have openings. Working at Campus Recreation has been one of the best decisions I’ve made since coming to the University of Illinois. I was able to complete an internship as well as take advantage of the promotional opportunities and cross-employment. The shifts worked around my class schedule, and I always felt a significant emphasis on school coming first. As a bonus, I got to make and work with great friends. With a wide variety of positions and facilities, I do believe it is a place for everyone. Get Fresh! Participants will pick up their re-useable Get Fresh! tote of seasonal fruit and vegetables weekly at the ARC Instructional Kitchen.
