"IT WAS WRITTEN JUST FOR ME"

Roger and Rachel Gilbert will be eternally grateful for having received the Signs of the Times magazine. The Signs coming into their home and the subsequent events which it led to, have given them the hope of eternal life and great joy and satisfaction. In the summer of 1982, the Berlin, New Hampshire, church chose as one of their missionary outreaches to use the Signs Digest to blanket an area around Gorham and Berlin, New Hampshire. They sent approximately seven thousand Signs to the communities about them. More than seventy persons requested to receive the Signs free for one year and over fifty of those requested Bible lessons. The Pastor, Elder Tom Schroer, with only seven members in the Berlin church and heavy respon- sibilities in his other church some distance away, knew that he and his few members could not personally visit and study in each home. At first they felt overwhelmed with so many requests for Bible studies; however, they made personal contact with as many as they could, and the others were enrolled in the Voice of Prophecy Bible Course. They sent a special offering to the Voice of Pro- phecy to cover the cost and asked that they be given a regular update on each enrollee from their area. When Roger and Rachel Gilbert received the first gather their courage and attend. "We felt very welcom- Signs magazine, she laid it aside initially and a few days ed and wanted.
