A major portion of the work including modeling, geotechnical investigations, and environmental surveys would be FL Jacksonville Jacksonville Harbor, FL contracted out to private industry creating job 1,485,000 opportunities. Ultimately this study for harbor improvements could justify a deeper Port, creating an avenue for Port expansion and ultimately more jobs in the area. Funding will allow the feasibility phase of this project to continue without interruption. A major portion of the work including external peer review, will be contracted FL Jacksonville Mile Point, FL 144,832 out creating job opportunities. Ultimately this study for channel improvements could lead to a more efficient use of the harbor and more cargo transits. Funding will allow the feasibility phase of this project to continue without interruption. A major portion of the work, the environmental survey update, will be FL Jacksonville Port Everglades Harbor, FL contracted out creating job opportunities. Ultimately 135,212 this study for harbor improvements could justify a deeper Port, creating an avenue for Port expansion and ultimately more jobs in the area. Funding will allow the feasibility phase of this project to continue without interruption. A major portion of the work, including resource surveys and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement, will be contracted out FL Jacksonville St Johns County, FL 189,000 creating job opportunities. Ultimately this shore protection project stands to reduce storm damages while protecting upland structures and could potentially save lives. FY 2010 funds will allow completion of feasibility study needed to facilitate recovery from FY 2008 Midwest IA Rock Island Cedar River Check Area, IA Floods. Recovery is not able to proceed without 3,365,000 Federal recommendations on flood risk management measures. Award contract to conduct hydrologic analysis, and ID Walla Walla Boise River, Boise, ID 150,000 prepare floodplain mapping for the lower Boise River.
