Gender dysphoria can be an elusive feeling, hard to fully understand for those who don’t experience it, and even challenging to identify for those that do. I know for myself, I had never heard of the term until my late 20s. Growing up I didn’t know what gender dysphoria was, so it took watching nonbinary folks come out on YouTube to help me figure out my own identity.
