PLAINS TRIBUTARY TRAIL This corridor will eventually connect Thornton Trail Winds Park & Open Space to the Brantner Gulch Trail. PREBLE CREEK TRAIL This northernmost trail corridor runs along Preble Creek in the the North Creek Farms Clear Creek Trail Subdivision. The trail will eventually connect east to the Big Dry Creek Regional Trail. South Platte River Legend Greenway Trail to SIGNAL DITCH TRAIL This trail corridor takes off from the Farmer’s High Line Canal Trail at 128th Avenue and Confluence Park/ Downtown Lafayette Street northeast towards the city limits. The trail connects Cherrywood Park, 13 Lake Village Park, and Fallbrook Farms Park. The Northern Lights Ball Fields and Eastlake #3 Park and Nature Preserve are accessible from the Signal Ditch Trail 13 270 through local connector trails. The Signal Ditch Trail also connects into the Lee Lateral TRAILS regional trail system. Multi-Use (Hard Surface) Bike Lanes or Route Soft Surface Adjacent Jurisdiction SOUTH PLATTE RIVER TRAIL This South Platte River corridor, in Adams County, is a significant natural feature that EXISTING buffers the city of Thornton’s eastern boundary. The multi-use regional trail connects the PROPOSED city of Thornton to downtown Denver and Chatfield or Cherry Creek Reservoir. UNION DITCH TRAIL This central east/west corridor provides regional connectivity into Northglenn, and PARKS AND OPEN SPACE BASE LEGEND SYMBOLS connects Woodglen/Brookshire Park to Skylake Ranch Open Land.
