Students visited Akansha Rehabilitation centre for mentally retarded children 20th January 2017 andentertained them by playing games like Basket Ball,Tthrow Ball. This brought 49 happiness and smile on their faces. Students visited Friends and Birds of the Air(Home for the Destitute). They 7th January 2017 cleaned the home, took up hygiene works for the inmates and interacted with the 49 destitutes. Students tutored slow learners of Zila Parishad Government High School, 13 December 2016 to 24 Alwal.Fifty five children from 8 and 9 classes were taught Mathematics and Social 49 December 2016 studies. Slow learners were given much attention personally. Students in support of National Domestic Workers Movement made a general survey among domestic Workers and created awareness to the parents about 12th August 2016 41 importance of education. several schemes were explained to uplift the the poor people specially malnutritioned women and children. Students visited Home for the age run by Mother Teresa missionaries of charity. 29th July 2016 They cleaned the corridors, dormitories, bed rooms, helped them during the lunch 54 time by feeding and interacting with the neglected elderly people. Students visitedHome for the disabled and took up different tasks of cleaning the 23rd july 2016 surroundings, shifting the inmates to different sectionsand instilling confidence in 101 their lives. Students visited Aim for Seva, Boys home, Bolarum during evening hours and 15 July to 30 July 2016 taught them difficult subjects and helped them with their Home Work.They also 95 educated them about personal hygiene and other important lessons of Life. Students took up tuitions at Zila Parishad High School for 8th ,9th standards 21,23,24 Jan.,2016 underprivileged children by equipping them with the knowledge and skills that 55 would help them to lead successful and productive lives Huge number of students especially girls were given knowledge regarding their 3,4,5 December safety and also several issues were addressed about the way of dealing even during 40 2015 the worst harassment. Students visited Zilla Parishad school, Alwal.Girls were given knowledge 24,25,26,27&28 regarding their safety and also several issues were addressed about the way of 40 November 2015 dealing during harassment. Students in coordination with Aim for Seva run by Swami Dayanand Saraswati 10,11,12,14,15 September educated tribal students regarding various aspects from social behaviour to basic 47 2015 education by our students. 2015-16 12 Students visited Ayusha Nilayam and took up tuitions for 5th to 9th classes for the 3.4.7.9.10 September children whose parents have died of HIV/AIDS.58 Children are residing in this 53 2015 Home 24 August 2015 Students visited Home for the Aged and served the people in all the aspects. They identified slow 14 September 2014 30 learners and helped them in understanding the subject thoroughly. Students engaged tuitions at Zila Parishad high School, Alwal, for 7th and 8th 12th September to 18th standard childern. They cleared their doubts and gave them some tips and tricks in 52 September 2014 remembering the main concepts. Students visited Children's Home and took up Special Classes from 6th to 10th 4 Sept. to12 Sept. 2014 class at Government Primary School, Alwal, Secunderabad after the College hours 55 from 4.00pm to 7.00pm daily for 6days. 2014-15 7 22 August 2014 to 2 Students visited Zila Parishad Girls High School and took up tuitions for 8,9 September 2014 Classes. Students took classes in School for Slow learners and children who were 43 4.00pm to 6.15pm finding difficulty in subjects like Telugu, Science and Social Studies. 4 and 5 August 2014 9.30am Students visited Swayam Krushi and helped the the mentally retarded children in to identifying the colours, vegetables, fruits and various body parts.Students also 39 5.30pm. helped them in feeding and maintaining themselves hygienically. Students in coordination with Aim for Seva have explained tribal children the 7 Feb to 12 Feb 2014 basics of all the subjects. Special focus was kept on the students appearing SSC 52 4.15pm to 7.00pm examination. They briefed them about basic life skills and the various problems 52 4.30pm to 7.00pm encountered in life. 27 June 2014 Students visited Cherlapally Jail and briefed them regarding various agricultural 9.30am operations which could fetch income to the people residing in barracks. Also, 39 to necessary skills were dealt which help the prisoners to improve them socially and 5.30pm economically. 23 and 24 February2014 Students were divided into groups of three and had administered Polio Drops to 6.30am 4850 children on three consecutive days.

Chenna Reddy on 19th March, 1980. The archilecture adopted for the exterior devation to the new building is the same as that of the old building, leaving no scope for differentiation between the two building~. The provision of detached round long columns under the arches add more beauty to the building. The building contains modern amenities such as air-connitioning, interior decoration and reinforced sound system. There is a provision for the use of modc:rn sophisticated electronic equipment for providing audio-system.

Padma5 1,2,3,4,5 Department of Biochemistry, Bhavan’s Vivekananda College, Secunderabad, Telangana, India ________________________________________________________________________ Abstract: ABO and Rh blood groups were tested for one hundred and thirty one government high school children as part of an awareness programme about knowing one’s own blood group. The data was analyzed to understand the distribution of ABO blood groups among them. Blood samples were collected by finger-prick method and blood groups were examined by slide-test haemagglutination method using commercially available anti-sera A, B, and Rh (D). The highest percentage frequency was observed for the blood group O (41.20%) followed by B (35.86%), A (18.31%) and the least percentage frequency was for AB (4.58%). In the case of Rh(D)+ve, the frequency observed was 96.18% and that for Rh(D)-ve was 3.82%. Keywords: ABO, Rh (D), Blood group system, Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-AB. I.
