The Rotary tree (pictured) was in the centre of the church and we shared it with the pupils of Keelham Primary School who made stars with their own picture in the middle. At the time of writing I haven’t got a final figure of how much was donated but whatever it is will go towards Keelham’s fund raising effort to improve their upper playground where £18,000 is the target. Miss Butler, the head teacher, took 20 children to Sandal Farm Restaurant to entertain the Rotary Christmas lunch where they sang carols and Christmas songs on 12th December. All existing players from Under 13 level upwards are welcome, however, we would like to invite new players both at junior and senior level to the nets with a view to playing next season. Cost is £2 for juniors and £3 for seniors each session. The practice/coaching sessions will be attended by our ECB Level 2 qualified coaches (all CRB checked).
