Cdl Burke, Bp Schneider Issue 'Declaration of Truths' to Correct
!1 of !25 Cdl Burke, Bp Schneider issue ‘declaration of truths’ to correct rampant ‘doctrinal confusion’ in Church Athanasius Schneider, Catholic, Declaration Of Truths, Jan Pawel Lenga, Janis Pujats, Pope Francis, Raymond Burke, Tomash Peta ROME, June 10, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — Cardinal Raymond Burke and Bishop Athanasius Schneider, together with several other bishops, have issued a public declaration of truths of the faith to remedy the “almost universal doctrinal confusion and disorientation” endangering the spiritual health and eternal salvation of souls in the Church today. PETITION: Support Senior Cardinals' and Bishops' Declaration of Truths Amid Confusion in Universal Church. Sign the petition here. Some of the 40 truths which are elucidated in the declaration implicitly reference statements made by Pope Francis, while others relate to points of confusion that have arisen or intensified during the current pontificate. Still others address moral errors in society that are gravely harming lives, as much of the heirarchy stands by. The eight-page document (see full text below), released in several languages on Pentecost Monday, June 10, is entitled Declaration of the truths relating to some of the most common errors in the life of the Church of our time. The declaration upholds the Church’s perennial teaching on the Eucharist, marriage and priestly celibacy. !2 of !25 Also included among the truths of the faith is that “hell exists” and that human souls who are “condemned to hell for any unrepented mortal sin” suffer there eternally; that the “only religion positively willed by God” is that born in faith in Jesus Christ; and that “homosexual acts” and gender reassignment surgery are “grave sins” and a “rebellion” against divine and natural law. -

A Servant of God, the Church and Homeland. on the Tenth Death Anniversary of Archbishop Marian Oleś 1934-2005
ARCHIWA, BIBLIOTEKI I MUZEA KOŚCIELNE 105 (2015) KS. WALDEMAR W. ŻUREK SDB – LUBLIN A SERVANT OF GOD, THE CHURCH AND HOMELAND. ON THE TENTH DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF ARCHBISHOP MARIAN OLEŚ 1934-2005 On 24 May 2005 Archbishop Marian Oleś died suddenly in Warsaw at the age of 70 with 44 years of priesthood and 18 years of the Episcopal ministry in the service of the Holy Father and the Holy See. His mortal remains were buried in the Polish Necropolis-at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw. *** As a Pole by birth, he lived in his homeland only fi ve years. He was born on 8 December 1934 on the feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cendrowizna, in the parish of Miastkowo in the Diocese of Łomża. He was the son of Jan (aged 33) and Franciszka (aged 32) from Tyszków. His father was a forester of the state forests in Cendrowizna. On 20 December the same year, he was baptized in the parish church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Miastkowo by the then curate of the parish Rev. Franciszek Łuba. His godparents were: Stefan Klimaszewski and Irena Woźniak1. On 11 February 1940, he was, along with his family, deported to Arkhangelsk. It was the moment when he, as a fi ve-year child, began his life in exile. Returning 1 The parish of Miastkowo was erected in 1451 by the Bishop of Płock Paweł Giżycki from the foundation of Boleslaw II of Masovia. The present parish church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary is historically the third parish church, consecrated on 27 October 2013 by the Bishop of Łomża Janusz Stępnowski. -
The Holy See
The Holy See JOHN PAUL II PASTORAL VISIT IN KAZAKHSTAN ANGELUS Astana – Square of the Motherland Sunday, 23 September 2001 At the end of this solemn celebration, let us recite together the customary Marian prayer, turning with confidence to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The Astana Cathedral which can be seen from this Square is dedicated to her; and there tomorrow morning, God willing, I will celebrate Holy Mass for the priests, religious and seminarians. At this moment, I wish to go on spiritual pilgrimage to your national Marian shrine near Oziornoe where you, dear Brothers and Sisters, venerate the Blessed Virgin under the title of Queen of Peace. Prostrate at her feet, I pray for the entire nation of Kazakhstan: for its leaders and citizens, for the families, the young people, the children and the elderly, for those who are suffering and those in need. To Mary I entrust all of you: Christians and non-Christians, believers and non-believers. She is the Mother of all, because Christ her Son is the Saviour of all. May Mary help all of you, dear Brothers and Sisters, to accomplish in your daily lives Christ’s command: "Love one another", which is the guiding theme of this pastoral visit of mine. To the perpetual help of the Queen of peace I also entrust the countries bordering Kazakhstan, and I greet especially the pilgrims who have come today from those lands to demonstrate their faith and affection. Together let us turn now with confidence to the Handmaid of the Lord: "Angelus Domini..." After leading the recitation of the Angelus, the Holy Father greeted the Kazakhs, Poles, German- speaking faithful and others in each one's language: 2 A special greeting to all those present of Kazakh origin. -
