Corey P. Edwards Southeast Regional Vice President Music and Worship Arts Auxiliary Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Corey P. Edwards is a sought after singer, songwriter, facilitator, worship leader, and church music administrator. His experience and leadership has taken him across the country teaching and training the people of God, in the areas of worship, arts, and music ministry. His thoughtful insight and practical teaching has inspired and blessed thousands. Pastors and church leaders agree that Corey is one of the foremost leaders in the areas of developing sustained and comprehensive church music ministry, strategic planning and leadership accountability. Corey is a noted organist, singer, director and songwriter. He is a member of the Hampton University Choir Directors' and Organists' Guild. He has also studied and participated in other national venues such as the Thomas A. Dorsey Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses Inc., of which he is a founding member of the West Central Florida Chapter, the National Baptist Convention Congress of Christian Education, Lucie E. Campbell Workshop, and is a member of the National Collegiate Musicians Association, and International Thespians Society. He has served as the Executive Coordinator of the Dorinda Clark-Cole Regional Singers and Musicians Conference that meets annually in sunny Tampa Bay, Florida. In 2012, he had the opportunity to present and record an original composition entitled “I Need Thee” with the Gospel Music Workshop of America International Mass Choir in Nashville, Tennessee. SoundStageNetwork 3 Feb @SoundStageNet Bias is a hard thing to overcome. Even admitting that you have biases, let alone identifying precisely what they are, can be difficult. But such an admission is the necessary first step to being able to control them. High-end audio is fraught with biased reviewers, and I’m no SoundStageNetwork 1 Feb @SoundStageNet exception. My taste in power amplifiers has been for physically large, heavy hardware. There’s something confidence- inspiring about peering through the top vents of a 150-pound amp and seeing a huge transformer -- you just know that the bass that amp will produce will be subterranean, and that the amp will grip your speakers like a vise. I "know" that about the amp before I listen to it -- that’s the definition of bias, and this one is built into my psyche. When I think back on my audiophile life, I can see where my biases were often based in fact, and confirmed by the accumulated experience of many audiophiles (could they all have had the same bias?). -

In between e.ams, take a break and /oin us0 The Cherokee Naonal Youth Choir 1CNYC2 erforms tradional Cherokee songs in the Cherokee language. The choir is made u of 30340 young Cherokees from northeastern Oklahoma communies. Members are middle and high school youth in 6th312th grades. The students com ete in rigorous audions every year for inclusion in the grou . The Youth Choir acts as ambassadors for the Cherokee Naon, their beauful voices showing the strength of the Cherokee Naon and its culture for more than 160 years a8er the Cherokees’ forced removal from their eastern homelands. The goal of the CNYC is to increase awareness among the Cherokee and dominant cultures within the Cherokee Naon. CNYC was formed as a way to kee youth involved in the Cherokee language and culture. Course description, class outline and syllabus Instructor: Peter Elman Title: “A Round-Trip Road Trip of Country Music, 1950-present: From Nashville to California to Texas--and back.” Course Description: An up close and personal look at the golden era of American country music, this class will explore key movements that contributed to the explosive growth of country music as an industry, art form and subculture. The first half of this course will focus on three major regions: Nashville, California and Texas, and concentrate on the period 1950-1975. The second half will look at the women of country, discuss the making of a country song and record, look at the work of five great songsmiths, visit the country music of the 1980’s, and end with an examination of Americana music. The course will do this through lectures, photographs, recorded music, film clips, question and answer sessions, and the use of live music. Of all of those involved and convicted of the drug deal, Aaron received the toughest sentence - 3 Life Terms in prison. Many efforts have been started to get Aaron released but to no avail. President George W. Bush, in his final year, was never provided the full extent of the case and the fact the prosecutor’s office and the sentencing judge supported an immediate commutation for Aaron and is part of a long list of rejected applicants by the Justice Department.
