OSPI CNS Child and Adult Care Food Program Reference Sheet Whole and Enriched Grains USDA’s Rule of Three teaches sponsors to identify whole grain-rich products for the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Requirements: The first ingredient (or second after water) must be whole or enriched grain. The next two grain ingredients (if any) must be whole grains, enriched grains, bran, or germ. The second grain ingredient is an enriched grain. The third grain ingredient is a whole grain. This product passes the rule of three test.
