Dale Earnhardt once told me it was the one race he wanted to do outside of NASCAR, and I'm sure Mario Andretti would tell you that, for all he achieved, Le Mans was the one that got away. That's how the drivers see it. It's that big a challenge, and that rewarding.”

NASCAR

NASCAR ON FOX SPORTS 1 & FOX SPORTS 2 FROM MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY & GATEWAY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY FOX Sports 1 continues exclusive, live coverage of the entire 2014 NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES season with this weekend’s stop at Gateway International Raceway on Saturday, June 14 (9:00 PM ET), the series’ first trip to the St. Louis track since 2010. In addition, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 offer shoulder programming surrounding the NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES and NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES live from Michigan International Speedway.

After six races, defending Truck Series champion , who won at in dominating fashion last weekend, marking the first time he has posted multiple victories in one season, once again leads the standings. NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES RACE FROM GATEWAY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY  Network/When: FOX Sports 1 & FOX Sports GO on Saturday, June 14 (8:30 PM ET)  Talent: Rick Allen, , , Ray Dunlap and

RAY DUNLAP SAYS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AT GATEWAY COULD GIVE VETERANS A SLIGHT LEG UP THIS WEEKEND: “I’ll be watching Ron Hornaday Jr. this weekend because he has a lot of experience at Gateway. Not only that -- his team has been on a roll lately and probably should have finished second at Texas. With so many unknowns at Gateway, those who ran there a few years ago should have an advantage over the young guys who have never seen the place. It’s a hard track to get a hold of and wears the tires out quickly, so the guys who have been around a while and know how to manage their tires will do well. Experience from five or 10 years ago won’t guarantee a trip to Victory Lane, but it certainly can’t hurt.”

DUNLAP SAYS TEAMS CANNOT RELY ON SETUPS FROM LAST RACE AT GATEWAY: “A team’s notebook from having raced at Gateway in the past is useless today because the body styles of the trucks and horsepower numbers are so different than a few years ago when they last raced there. They’ll have to rely on engineers and computers to get them started with a good setup. Gateway isn’t really similar to any other track, so crew chiefs can’t borrow the setup from another track and plug it in this weekend. Gateway is so unique with its corners, and it has a pretty worn-out surface that will eat up tires. I expect a great race but I don’t think anybody will go in there with an informational or setup advantage over the next guy.”

CRAFTON COULD BECOME THE FIRST TRUCK SERIES CHAMPION TO WIN IN BACK- TO-BACK YEARS, ACCORDING TO DUNLAP: “With a 22-race schedule, six races under our belts isn’t enough to start predicting the championship picture, but when you look at what Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter have been doing, it makes you second-guess that perspective. They certainly have put themselves at the top of the heap. Each has had only one bad race and has been in contention to win the others. They’ve set themselves apart. I’ll continue to keep an eye on Timothy Peters, but he ran so poorly at Texas last week. Anybody could get hot in the next few weeks, but Crafton has that mojo going and I have a feeling he’ll be the first back-to- back Truck Series champion.” NCWTS SETUP FROM GATEWAY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY  Network/When: FOX Sports 1 & FOX Sports GO, Saturday, June 14 (8:00 PM ET)  Talent: , Ray Dunlap and Hermie Sadler  This Week: This week’s pre-race show offers a Father’s Day feature on the father/son racing duo of Joe and sharing a Truck Series ride in 2014; follows St. Louis native and NASCAR on FOX analyst around his hometown; and a piece on the history of racing at Gateway International Raceway with some of the bigger moments at the track over the years.
