Local Plan update

It is planned to take the final version of the Local Plan (part 2), along with comments submitted at previous consultations, to the Council’s Executive and Full Council in September. This will be followed by a six week consultation starting in October after which the Local Plan will be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for independent examination. In the meantime, as and when available, we will be adding topic papers and studies to our web pages. These can be viewed on the following webpages https://www.allerdale.gov.uk/en/planning-building-control/planning-policy/local-plan-part-2/local-plan-part- evidence-base/
