Northern Dimension and 3 the Oceans and Seas The 15th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (bspc) took place in Reykjavík, the northernmost European capital with the oldest parliament dating back to the year of 930. Although distant to the Baltic Sea, it served as the perfect host for this year’s Confer- ence with its extraordinary nature and welcoming atmosphere. At the Conference issues such as the environment, with particu- lar focus on the Baltic Sea, the Northern Dimension and how to further strengthen co-operation in the Region, were discussed.
