Modesty Blaise, a secret agent whose hair style and mod clothing change at a snap of her fingers, is being used by the British government as a decoy in an effort to thwart a diamond heist. In 1944, prior to the Allied landings in Normandy, British Intelligence is anxious to mislead the Germans regarding the actual landing sites and plans to drop an officer in their lap to in order to carry out the plan. The officer however will be unaware of the actual plan.

Saturday 26th January 2019 – 20:20 MAN IN THE MIDDLE (1964) Director: Guy Hamilton Starring: Robert Mitchum, France Nuyen, Barry Sullivan and Trevor Howard. Set in India in 1944, this courtroom drama centres on Lieutenant Colonel Barney Adams, a war hero and career army man called to defend the mentally ill U.S. Army Lieutenant Winston, who is accused of killing a British staff sergeant in cold blood.

Sunday 27th January 2019 – 13:15 A WEEKEND WITH LULU (1961) (also showing Friday 25th January at 02:50) Director: John Paddy Carstairs Starring: Bob Monkhouse, Leslie Phillips, Shirley Eaton and Irene Handl.
