JOINT CSC-NAPOLCOM KICK OFF PROGRAM

This Office represented by some personnel attended the Joint CSC-NCPW Kick Off Program last September 2, 2019 held at the Legazpi City Convention Center, Airport Road, Legazpi City. The said program was the start of a week-long celebration of the 25th National Crime Prevention Week. It was also the Civil Service Commission’s scheme for the PLB fund raising through a Zumba fitness activity.

DRUG FREE WORKPLACE LECTURE

This Office represented by PECI Officers conducted lectures for the personnel of the Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Office V last September 9, 2019 held at the Conference Room, PSA Regional Office V, Old Albay, Legazpi City and Philippine Statistics Authority Sorsogon Provincial Office last September 12, 2019. A lecture on the Drug Situation, RA 9165, Ill Effects of Drugs and Drug Free Workplace Program was presented to them in line with their continuing program and education in the Drug Free Workplace.

ON SITE VALIDATION ON BRGY DRUG CLEARING IMPLEMENTATION Conduct of on-site validation in coordination with the core team of different municipalities regarding Barangay Drug Clearing Operation in Bicol Region. The team discussed regarding the fourteen (14) parameters set by DDB Regulation No. 3, Series of 2017 needed documents to be attached in the folders of barangays candidates for drug clearing and some other matters in connection with Barangay Drug Clearing Program.

LAUNCHING OF BALAY SILANGAN REFORMATION HOUSES

This Office together with partner stakeholders LGU Daet and LGU Jose Panganiban of the province of Camarines Norte launched its Balay Silangan Reformation Houses last September 9, 2019 and September 10, 2019 respectively. The very first Sorsogon Balay Silangan Reformation House was also inaguarated last September 18, 2019 at Sta Magdalena, Sorsogon.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT ACTIVITIES

This Office participated in the Peace Rally last September 27, 2019 from Camp Simeon A Ola to the Peñaranda Park. This is done to influence popular support for the government and convey peace and conciliatory efforts of the government to the Communist Terrorist Group since it is the National Consciousness Month.

OPLAN KALASAG- DRUG FREE WORKPLACE ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN

On September 20, 2019, PDEA RO V together with all other Regional Offices of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency launch Oplan Kalasag- A Drug Free Workplace Advocacy campaign for Work Establishments held at the 2nd Floor Salalima Conference Room, Capitol Building, Old Albay, Legazpi City. This was attended by different owners/representatives of restaurants, bars along with members of the Albay Chamber of Commerce.
