Hull City Hall is a prestigious historic building right in the heart of the city centre with a diverse programme of events. Spaces include the main hall, which has a capacity of 1,200 people seated or 1,800 standing/seated, the Mortimer Suite which has a 300 capacity and the Victoria Bar with a 150 capacity. Alongside our entertainment events Hull City Hall is licenced to hold weddings & receptions, special events, parties, conferences and meetings.

Hull New Theatre has recently re-opened after an exciting £16m refurbishment, whilst much of this work will remain hidden from public view with major upgrades to backstage facilities and the technical infrastructure, you will see the benefits in the biggest and best events we are able to attract to Hull New Theatre. Other exciting changes include a new level entrance, increased capacity in the auditorium and various new spaces available to hire including a studio space and two further versatile areas.
