Thank you for sharing in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with us today. Please fill out a visitor’s card (found in the pew racks) and return it in the offering plate so we will have a record of your visit. And please introduce yourself after Mass.

If you are a Catholic, we at Our Lady of Walsingham receive Holy Communion kneeling and by intinction (both species on the tongue).

If you are not a Catholic, during Communion we invite you either to come forward with your arms crossed over your chest, or fingers across your lips, and receive a blessing from the Priest or Deacon, or remain in your pew and reflect on the presence of Christ.

Catholic Kids Camp Heavenly Clues 2020 Catholic Kids Camp is July 27 through July 31. Our Catechists are working hard preparing the materials and activities for the week. If you would like to volunteer or to contribute a donation towards the costs of camp, please visit the display located in the narthex. Dona- tion envelopes can be placed in the collection basket in the narthex.

The Greatest of Gifts: Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

If you would like to have a Mass celebrated for a special intension, on behalf of a someone in great need, a family member, a friend, or a deceased loved one, please complete the Mass Intention envelopes located in the narthex or contact Catherine Heath in the parish office at 713-683-9407. Mass Intention envelopes may be place in the collection baskets. St. John Paul II emphasized the graces that come when a Mass is offered. "The Church believes that she will be heard, for she prays in union with Christ her Head and Spouse, who takes up this plea of His Bride and joins it to His own re- demptive sacrifice."

The five large votives can each burn for a week in honor, in thanksgiving, or in intercession, of your loved ones. Please contact Catherine Heath at the Parish Office, 713-683-9407, to request any of the five candles: St. Jude, St. Joseph, St. Gabriel, Our Lady or the Martyrs for your intention. CCD Registration is Open for the 2020 - 2021 School Year The CCD Sunday School program offers students an opportunity to gain a better understanding of their Cath- olic faith and traditions. The goal of each class is to go beyond mere content knowledge. Rather, inspired by Our Lady, we seek to ponder these mysteries in our hearts, and so come to a deeper and richer encounter with our Lord and his Church. Classes meet on Sundays 9:45 - 10:45 am in Seton Hall and Newman Hall from Sep- tember through May.

The cost of the program for the academic year is as follows: $75 for one child, $105 for two children and, $160 for three or more children

KSHJ AM 1430 Tune into our local Catholic radio station which is a part of the Guadalupe Radio Network, broadcasting many programs from EWTN and Ave Maria Radio. We believe that Our Lady of Guadalupe, who once brought 8 million people into the living streams of Catholi- cism, can once again bring light into our present darkness! Mother Angelica of Eternal Word Television Network caught our attention by her response to the Holy Father’s invitation to the laity. She challenged her viewers, with a very generous proposal. With resounding certitude Mother would shake her finger into the television camera and say, “If you, the laity, will buy a radio station, I will give you the programming free.” With the inspiration from Pope St. John Paul II and Mother Angelica, La Promesa Foundation continued in “Keeping the Promise” through the development of Guadalupe Radio Network.
