Even if you cannot remain for one hour, drop by and spend just a few moments with our LORD. The Greatest of Gifts: Holy Sacrifice of the Mass If you would like to have a Mass celebrated for a special intension, on behalf of a someone in great need, a family mem- ber, a friend, or a deceased loved one, please complete the Mass Intention envelopes located in the narthex or contact Catherine Heath in the parish office at 713-683-9407. Mass Intention envelopes may be place in the collection baskets. St. John Paul II emphasized the graces that come when a Mass is offered. "The Church believes that she will be heard, for she prays in union with Christ her Head and Spouse, who takes up this plea of His Bride and joins it to His own re- demptive sacrifice." The five large votives can each burn for a week in honor, in thanksgiving, or in intercession, of your loved ones. Please contact Catherine Heath at the Parish Office, 713-683-9407, to request any of the five candles: St. Jude, St. Joseph, St. Gabriel, Our Lady or the Martyrs for your intention. Stipends of $5 may be mailed to 7809 Shadyvilla Ln Houston 77055 or paid on-line at www.olwcatholic.org. Flowers for the High Altar The Flower Donation is available beginning the weekend of June 28. If you would like to choose to honor a special person or event in your life as a gift of thankfulness to the Blessed Sacrament contact the office at 713-683-9407 or email [email protected].
