FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: John Stouffer Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 [email protected] UFC LIGHTWEIGHT CONTENDER PAUL FELDER AND BRENDAN FITZGERALD CALL FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: STEPHENS VS. CHOI LIVE FROM ST. LOUIS Former Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping and Retired Contender Yves Edwards Serve as FOX Sports Desk Analysts with Lead Host Karyn Bryant LOS ANGELES – Today, FOX Sports announces that blow-by-blow announcer Brendan Fitzgerald (@BrendanFitzTV) and UFC lightweight contender Paul Felder (@FelderPaul) call FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: STEPHENS VS. CHOI live Octagon-side from St. Louis, on Sunday, Jan. 14. Laura Sanko (@laura_sanko) adds reports and interviews fighters on-site. Victor Davila (@mastervic10) and Brandon Moreno (@theassassinbaby) have the call in Spanish on FOX Deportes. Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping (@Bisping) and retired lightweight contender Yves Edwards (@thugjitsumaster) work as desk analysts with lead UFC host Karyn Bryant (@KarynBryant) at the FOX Sports studio in Los Angeles for the rare Sunday fights. The Octagon sets down in St. Louis for the first time on Sunday night, and sparks are expected to fly in the exciting headliner when hard-hitting No. 9-ranked featherweight Jeremy Stephens (26-14) faces No. 13-ranked South Korean knockout king Dooho Choi (14-2). FOX UFC analyst Tyron Woodley believes this fight can be broken down as a classic brawler versus striker. “Jeremy Stephens looks like he’ll knock you out,” says Woodley. “Dooho Choi doesn’t look the part, but his technique, his precision and accuracy puts him in the position always to score a knockout, especially with that straight right hand. He has one of the best straight right hands in all the UFC. I’m excited for this fight.” Watch the preview from the FS1 UFC 219 POSTFIGHT SHOW here. FS1’s UFC programming starts Wednesday, Jan. 10 with UFC TONIGHT airing at a special time, 6:30 PM ET, as host Kenny Florian and guest host Woodley interview Stephens about his headlining bout.
