The sankathara chaturthi the chaturthi tithi must be prevailing during the applicable for all location in world”. We use our favorite Panchangam from India to find an observance moonrise time. Sankathara Chaturthi/Karwa Chauth is celebrated when Chaturthi prevails during moon rise date for an Indian festival. Observance dates from Indian Panchangam is valid only in India and is not time Moonrise in New Delhi on a given date is at 19:36 and in West Bengal, Kolkatta is at 19:25 PM. Now transferrable to other locations. Another misconception arises due to the time zones/differences is as tritiya ends at 19:32 PM IST. So Kolkatta will celebrate karwa chauth/sankathara chaturthi on the Tomm USA/Canada and Europe is behind in time then Festival will come a day later in USA/Canada and Europe. where as people in New Delhi will celebrate on the same day. This is incorrect. If Seattle/Vancouver/California is 13 hours 30 minutes behind Indian Standard Time Timings in this calendar are end timings of the Tithi and Nakshatra and for Sun/Moon entering time when and say an event is happening in India at 8 AM then will it be the previous day in USA/Canada. You’ll it enters a new rashi. If the hour number is greater than 12 it means PM. When the hour number is greater subtract 13 hours 30 minutes from 8 AM. Which gives 6 hours 30 PM the previous day in USA/Canada than 23 then it ends on the next English date before sunrise, that means subtract 24 hours from hour to get Pacific Time Zone. Tithis, Nakshatras, Yoga and Karana are such events, as they end at the same instance exact time and take next English date. For example, tithi Amavasya ends at 26:36 on 19th March 2015 it all over the world. After calculating tithi and nakshatra endtimes per local timezone, the rules used to means it ends at 2:36 AM on 20th March. determine festivals. The local factors like like Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise, and Moonset are used along with Tithi to determine festivals. Hence, sometimes festivals may appear on the same day as India or a day before Uttarayana/Dakshinayana: The season occur based on earth’s position around the Sun. This is due to Earth’s in the countries west of India. The countries east of India the festival may appear on the same date as India tilt of 23.45 degrees. The Earth orbits around Sun with this tilt. or a day later. When the tilt is facing the Sun, we get summer and when the tilt Hindu day changes at the sunrise (not midnight), a Hindu day (Vaar) is from one sunrise to another. The is away from the Sun we get winter. This tilt it creates a Hindu date or tithi doesn't change at the midnight, and it is not always fixed 24 hours long it can be phenomenon like the Sun travels north and south of the equator. anything between 19 to 26 hours. Each 12 degrees distance The Uttarayana (Winter Solstice) is the Sun appearing to move between the Sun and the Moon is Tithi. Panchangam north. The Dakshinayana (Summer Solstice) is the Sun contains two types of calculations: Local coordinates like appearing to move towards South. This causes seasons, longitude and latitude: Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise, equinoxes and solstices. There is a common misconception that Moonset depends on this set. The Geocentric Makara Samkranti is the Uttarayana. This is because at one astronomical positions for the Sun and the Moon. point in time Sayana and Nirayana Zodiac were same. Every year The tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana are based on this equinoxes slides by 50 seconds due to precision of equinoxes, giving birth to Ayanamsha and causing Makara set of calculations. This astronomical phenomenon Samkranti to slide further. If you think Makara Samkranti is uttarayana then as it is sliding it will come in happens instantly at the same moment on the earth June after 9000 years. All Drigganitha Panchanga makers like mypanchang, Rastriya Panchang, Janmabhumi everywhere, and hence thithis, nakshatra will begin and end at Panchang, will use the position of the tropical Sun to determine Uttarayana and Dakshinayana. Hence January the same time / instance all over the world and we must 14th isn’t Uttarayana. Actual Uttarayana occurs on December 21st/22nd of every year. The same for Rutu. Rutus are always observed based on Tropical position of Sun. convert them to our standard time. Indian panchang makers convert this ending times to Indian time. Vol-6 Issue-5 2020 IJARIIE-ISSN(O)-2395-4396 Matrix—Copulating and Childless: Mythologies of the Indian Goddess in Sex Suwanee Goswami* and Dr. Eric Soreng** *Research Scholar Department of Psychology University of Delhi Delhi **Assistant Professor Department of Psychology University of Delhi Delhi ABSTRACT The paper on Matrix is a Jungian oriented mythological research on the Indian Goddess. ‘Goddess in sex’ means that She is fertile and in copulation but Her womb—Matrix—never bears fruits. Her copulation does not consummate in conception because the gods prevent it. She is married and as wife copulates to conceive, but only becomes Kumari-Mata, the Virgin Mother, in Her various manifestations and beget offspring parthenogenetically. She embodies not only maternal love but also encompass intense sexual passion as well as profound spiritual devotion; Her fertility fructifying into ascetical and spiritual wisdom. Such is the mythological series of Goddess Parvati. Her mythologies are recollected and rearranged to form a structural whole for reflection and interpretation wherever possible. The paper consummates with the mythic images of the primacy of the Sacred Feminine in India. Key Words: Matrix, Goddess Parvati, Goddess Kali Carl Jung (1981) defines the Matrix as “the form into which all experience is poured”. He conceptualized the Collective Unconscious as the mother, the source of psychic life and all the manifestations of the psyche. In the lifespan development overcoming the impediments in the world outside that obstructs man’s ascent liberates him from the mother and that leaves in him an eternal thirst which makes him return back to drink renewal from the source of psychic energy and life.

Sri Mathrudevi Vishwashanthi Ashram, International Headquarters – ‘Sri Puram’, Penchalakona, Nellore, Dist., Andhra Pradesh 524 414, India June 10, 2020 Embodiments of Divine Souls, My most Beloved Children, The month of May 23 through June 21 (IST) is called the Jyeshta Maasam according to the lunar calendar. Negative effects on some of the moon signs will be eliminated during this entire month of Jyeshta. What are the best practices in order to yield good results during this special month? Read and follow and try to follow the recommendations. Shloka: “Arogyam bhaskarad ichcheth” Meaning as per the Vedas: “Human being’s health is completely embedded in the early morning sun’s rays. So early morning worship to the Sun God (Surya) is very essential”. It is also explained in the Vedas that the radiance in the sun’s cosmic rays change every month just as the colors in the cosmic rays also change. To confirm these findings in the Vedas, a team of experts from the University of Colorado visited the beautiful city of Kashi (also known as Varanasi, Banaras, Benares), where twelve idols of the Sun God have been installed in twelve different temples in twelve different places in the city. For twelve months, the team examined the sun’s rays falling on the idols and were astonished to see the change in colors of the sun rays every month. They all agreed that the Vedas are correct. As explained in the Vedas, the twelve idols installed in Kashi have been given twelve names according to the change in colors of the sun’s rays during the twelve months.
