Effective Monday February 8th 2021: Dates for all the 2021 marquee races are now known and locked in for this year. (See below for the days shaded in green). There are a couple of gaps where we will wait for any earlier season rainouts to be re-scheduled. These are shown shaded in orange. The information shown on those dates however is an educated guess based on past experience. The highly anticipated visit to New York City is nestled in between Ohio and Pennsylvania Sprintweeks. Two nights in Chicago is again on the itinerary along with a visit to the baseball. All text in blue are hyperlinks. There is some sightseeing mentioned on this “brief itinerary”, but much more will be included in later, lengthier tour schedules. Final itineraries and pricing for each of the four optional tours will be published after the Australian Government has cleared the way for international travel to the USA in 2021. If the latter decision is not made in time for all travel arrangements to be made in a timely fashion for a 2021 tour, we will try again in 2022. Expected tour components: 1. Full tour from Day 1 to day 71 – June 8th to August 18th (49 race nights) 2. First half only. From Day 1 to day 36 – June 8th to July 15th (25 race nights) 3. Second half only. From Day 35 to day 71 – July 12th to August 18th (24 race nights) 4. St Louis and Knoxville only. From Day 59 to day 71 – August 5th to August 18th. (9 races) Admission to all races included in the final itinerary (when released with the tour costs) will be included in the prices published for each sector. Additional races (if any) added in after pricing has been announced, will be a personal expense to the customer. Naturally we will always get you there and back to the track, but ticket purchase for any such race will be your own responsibility. To save you adding them up, the number of races for each part of the tour is shown in brackets above. Chasing racing in America is a scientific art. There are numerous options to attend a race somewhere else, other than where we have chosen to be. At Global Speedway Tours we do our utmost to select what we think you will like the most. After all we are race fans as well and want to see the best, just like you. Rain outs are a pain in the ‘you know what’. We hope there won’t be any, but with 49 races on the schedule you can expect some. We need to pre-book accommodation near the intended next race track of course, but, if we are within a reasonable driving distance of an alternative race, we will do our level best to get you there. It is anticipated that to travel on any future trips with Global Speedway Tours, a COVID-19 vaccination may be required. Watch for further information in this regard.
