With field of energy research. the strong expertise in Our research in the field of b o t h m a t e r i a l s a n d Hydrogen energy ranges from systems development, the Centre will materials design, synthesis and a c t a s a f o c a l p o i n t t o w a r d s characterization to systems simulation, development of next generation of d e s i g n a n d d e v e l o p m e n t a n d materials and technologies, industrial and collaborative interactions, capacity demonstration for various stationary building, knowledge dissemination and and vehicular applications. This Multi- deployment of hydrogen based Insitutional R & D Centre will integrate technologies. Large scale synthesis the expertise and facilities available in and development of materials and the field of hydrogen energy across the systems alongwith integration, nation and act towards addressing demonstration and technology transfer several energy related challenges. for various stationary and vehicular applications will be the major objective.

Facilities Vision Furnace and Melting units he Centre will be the lead focal point in the country in Tm a t e r i a l s a n d s y s t e m s r e s e a r c h , p r o t o t y p e demonstration, technology development, incubation of innovative ideas, industrial interactions, collaborations, manpower development and information dissemination in the field of hydrogen energy.

To develop the next generation of advanced materials and devices Catering to address industrial problems where hydrogen can play a major role and provide industrial and societal Measurement setup (Static & Dynamic PCI, ETC) solutions Assist in developing standards, safety protocols associated with hydrogen systems, policy making and knowledge centre for the nation Conduct training programs periodically for academia and industry, organise workshops and conferences, offer online courses, and publish newsletters Capacity building and educating the next generation researchers, scientists, and engineers Hydrogen storage and purification system
