YMCA of Central Massachusetts YMCA of Central Massachusetts 145th Report to the Community 2009 Annual Report Letter to our Community Dear friends, As we reflect on this past year we do so with pride and joy of the continued growth and development of our organization as it stretches across Central Massachusetts reaching children, youth and families alike through our many programs and services that are designed to support our community needs - Today! Each of our Branches has designed programs to strengthen their reach based on the feedback that we have received from both our members and the communities that they serve. From our Minority Achievers Program at Central, Tennis at Greendale, Aquatics at Boroughs to our Youth and Government, Family and Youth Wellness Centers, School’s Out, Camps Harrington and Blanchard and of course our Child Care Services we are able to establish great programs because of your commitment to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts. Because of you we have impact today that withstood the difficult economic climate. Because of you we continue to build strong children, families and communities. With our strategic plan Vision 2012 as our roadmap, we will continue to move our organization forward. We promise to support our families that are struggling by providing quality and accessible child care, help kids make good choices with leadership development activities, providing youth wellness opportunities and offering academic enrichment activities after school. We will focus on responding to the growing health crisis by reaching out to the “health seeker” - all while supporting our members in reaching their individual goals in spirit, mind and body. Our YMCA is special – because of each of you the volunteers, Sincerelyy Yours,, staff, members, the communities we serve, corporate partners and the many individual contributors that work together to achieve our worthy mission.
