This event is held every other year for players who have less than 750 masterpoints. The competition is among the 13 units within District 5 (although all players are welcome). This year 6 units from the 13 were represented. The top five finalists were: Akron 26.47 Olympic Points Cleveland 18.60 Pittsburgh 5.76 Youngstown 3.84 Canton 4.05 Olympic Points are masterpoints won by the three medalists in each event as well as the top "B" players and top "C" players (not in the medal category). The MVP trophies for most Olympic Points earned during the event went to Richard Huff of Medina, Ohio and Dennis Young of Massillon, Ohio. They just won enough points for the Silver Medal on Sunday and the best finish for Flight B on Saturday Afternoon.
