Health Scientific Research Open Access ISSN Online: 1949-5005 Special Issue on Blood Lipids and Health Call for Papers Blood Lipids is the general term of neural fats (triglycerides and cholesterols) and lipids (phospholipids, glycolipids, sterols and steroids). These kinds of lipids are essential substances for basic metabolism of living cells. Generally the main ingredients of blood lipids are triglycerides and cholesterols, while triglycerides participant in the energy metabolism in the human bodies, and cholesterols are mainly used for the synthesis of steroid hormones and bile acids. This special issue will be focusing on studying different kinds of diseases about blood lipids (e.g. hyperlipidemia) in health and discussing the relevant prophylaxis and treatments. In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring blood lipids and health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: • Hyperlipidemia • Hypercholesterolemia • Hypocholesterolemia • Dyslipidemia • Hyperlipoproteinemia • Hypolipoproteinemia Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
